Women's Self Defence Basic Course Outline
Come and join LPAC's inaugural Women’s Self Defence Beginners Course and learn basic skills that can be used immediately. This will be a fun and friendly environment in which you will not only learn self-defence blocks, escape manoeuvres and attacks but you will also learn how to:
* assess possible dangerous situations
* change your body language to reflect confidence and improve your self awareness all of which are vital self protection aspects that can be used long before it even gets close to the physical stage
You will learn the importance of physical fitness, mental preparedness and self-confidence, how to minimise your risk of attack, break your (potential) attacker’s balance and how to keep your own, your rights to defend yourself and not be attacked and you will have a chance to surprise yourself with your new skills.
We are also planning to have a Crime Prevention Police Officer attend one of the classes to give a presentation on security for yourself, home, social media presence and ID.
This beginners course is open to all ages and all abilities. There will
be physical contact and you will need to complete a health questionnaire and liability waiver before commencing the course.

Cost for Gold members $71.75 (50% off the non-member price) and for non-members is $143.50. Minimum numbers required for the course to proceed.
